Meditative Morning – Releasing that Story
14 May @ 09:50 - 12:30 SAST
R220It is time to go down to the river again for restorative nurturing from the surrounding trees and flowing water. It is the time of year when leaves fall and trees to bare themselves. It made me wonder – what is the story that I keep repeating that I need to drop? A story that may be keeping a part of oneself under wraps. It is only when we let go that something new may emerge.
A safe space is created where you can reflect on what the story is that you keep repeating to yourself and perhaps to others. We start the morning in circle, connecting to Nature. It is a slow meditative space of gently releasing and then noticing the signs that nature is sending you. Noticing how nature can support you so that you can begin anew so that a new story may emerge.
We end the morning with connection, in conversation enjoying the comfort of warm apple bake and tea.
What to bring – a hat (even though we are in the shade the sun does move), a blanket to keep warm to cosy into, a journal and pen and 5 or 6 stones or crystals that want to come along for this exploration.
The cost is R220. There are 2 spaces for R120 if your budget is tight this month.
You are welcome to arrive from 9.40 onwards to have some warming chai and fruit before we start. The morning will begin at 10.00 and end around 12.30.
Please be aware that the steps down to the river are steep. Walking down the steps and in the river is done at your own risk. There is a longer gentler way to the river but it still involves some big steps.
