How Inner Peace Healing Came Into Being

For as long as I can recall, my deepest desire has always been to have inner peace – to have the ability to close my eyes and feel peace and contentedness encompass my soul. To simply just ‘be’.

In 2007 while I was walking in Mana Pools in Zimbabwe I felt an inner shift – a soul shift. By the end of the year, I had resigned from the corporate world having no clear plan other than to travel solo through South Africa and take photographs.

By 2009 I knew that I had to open a healing practice.  When the knowing landed I felt fear as to how this complete change of direction would impact my life.  Yet I knew that not following this path was simply not an option.

I have not stopped studying since attending my first healing workshop in 2009. Over the years the offering at Inner Peace Healing has evolved as I’ve studied different healing modalities.

With hindsight, I can see now that each provided the foundation for what came next.  It has been 14 years of learning, self-healing and growth.  I can close my eyes and just ‘be’.  I trust that the flow of life lands me exactly where I need to be.  

Robyn's Background

After completing a Business Science degree (Honours in Marketing and Economics) at UCT, I had a fulfilling career in the corporate world at Woolworths for 22 years.

My working experience on projects, with user groups, coaching and training people provided a good grounding when it comes to facilitating Family Constellations Group Workshops and running Constellation and Munay Ki Journeys.

It is now my 15th year of facilitating healing. Over the years I have been blessed to have wonderful teachers who have shared their knowledge and skills.


Healing Modalities

As mentioned I’ve been on a journey of learning since I knew I had to open my healing practice.  These are the modalities I’ve studied and immersed myself into over the years.  

Energy Healing

How the quality of the energy changes when connecting to different parts of the body depending on what story/belief still fascinates me.  I love the pulsating aliveness after the release, cleansing and balancing of the energy body and field.

Crystal Surgery & Crystal Healing

I’m still amazed at the vibrational strength of crystals to shift energy and bring healing at a physical and emotional level.  Often no words or explanation is needed – the work simply happens as the energy field’s resonance is realigned.  I was fortunate to study with Vivien Schapera for several years as she developed the many protocols used in Crystal Surgery.

Family & Systemic Constellations

After participating in a family constellation workshop in 2015 with Niall Campbell, I knew that this was the modality that was missing from my healing toolkit.  I have qualified as a Constellation Facilitator in different styles, all with their basis grounded in the work of Bert Hellinger, the founder of Family Constellations.

    • 2023 5-day African Constellations Intensive – Coming Home to the Ancestors.  
    • September 2024 attended the 6-day International Constellation Intensive in Lisbon followed by the 5-day Master Classes

In addition to the teachers mentioned I’ve attended workshops with Francesca Mason Boring, Sarah Peyton, Stephan Hausner, Karin Haussin, and many more.

I am a registered member of the Systems Constellations Association of Southern Africa (SCASA) and the International Systemic Constellations Association (ISCA).

Shamanic Practitioner

My connection to Nature drew to shamanism. From North America, Soul Retrieval and healing drum journeys. From Peru, the beautiful ritual of the Despacho Ceremony and connection to the Elements. From our African heritage, deep respect for one’s Ancestors, the Other World, and again the Elements

Body Work

This is where I started when I opened Inner Peace Healing.  I learnt that our bodies hold our stories and beliefs, which then manifest as aches and pains or dis-eases. This fascinated me and I soon realised that my gift lay with energy work rather than bodywork.

Hypnosis, Past Life & LBL Regression​

Although I no longer offer regression  and LBL sessions – past lives are incorporated into healing and constellation sessions.  When a client needs to know about a past life these are shown to me during a healing session and shared with the client.  I prefer to use hypnosis in the form of Inner Images – co-creating with the client.

Kundalini Yoga

I attended my first Kundalini Yoga class in 2008. It was here that the penny dropped that we are so much more than our physical bodies. It put me on the path of opening Inner Peace Healing.

Sessions at Inner Peace Healing are not intended to replace conventional medicine and therapy. They complement and support the healing process.

Family constellations are not intended to replace therapeutic interventions, but can be used to support healing in conjunction with other types of therapy where needed. 

Energy Healers facilitate the healing process, acting as a conduit for healing energy. Identifying what needs to be released, cleared and cleansed.  Then assisting in the process of rebuilding, energising and restoring the client’s energy body and field. When the client is ready and open (and it is for their highest good) they receive the healing energy. 

The journey of healing comes from within each one of us – as one surrenders and opens the heart.
