This Constellation Circle is inspired by 2025 being an Earth year in the Dagara tradition of West Africa.  Malidoma Somé (author of ‘The Healing Wisdom of Africa’) teaches us that in the Dagara tradition, Earth relates to home, belonging, nurturing, nourishment, abundance and acknowledging one’s purpose. It embodies rootedness and unconditional love. This Earth year calls for a homecoming to yourself.

In this first Constellation Circle of the year we start by exploring the theme of home. Home is more than the home that shelters us, it could be being at home in your body, finding a home in a community or family or on the land you choose to call home – whatever “Home” means for you. 

The morning starts with us sitting in circle in meditation and exploring the theme of the Constellation Circle – coming home and what it means for you.  This flows into the constellation exercises where we ask what blocks you or distracts you from coming home?  From finding that place or space where you can feel connected and rooted to ‘home’?   

The constellation exercises are mini constellations are done in groups of 2 or 3 giving everyone a chance to do some personal work. For some this mini constellation is all that is needed to bring about a shift and movement towards healing. For others it may be that deeper work is needed in the form of a group constellation.  Who has the constellation is dependent on what flows from the constellation exercises.  There is space for 3 – 4 constellations during the Constellation Circle.

However if you want to be certain of having a constellation you may pre-book a group constellation.  (Your constellations does not have to be related to the theme of the workshop).  These are limited to 2 spaces so that if a constellation is needed after the constellation exercises there is space for the work.
