One morning last month, I woke knowing that the Munay Ki Journey could not wait till next year. It’s a call to come together in circle, to build a sense of belonging and trust. A space that invites change, allows your essence to emerge, your heart to open, to be reminded of what you love and, in the words of Bert Hellinger, to “recollect yourself”.
In this new Munay Ki Journey, we slow the pace and give more space for you to drop the repeated story that keeps you stuck, untangling it, so you can reignite your reason for being and be reminded of your gifts. Along with the ten Munay Ki rites, you receive shamanic teachings that support your journey and constellation exercises that facilitate the unwinding of family and ancestral entanglements. Your commitment to a daily practice, to work with the recently received rites and to engage with a chakra archetype from the Harmony rite, deepens the transformation that may emerge from this journey.
So what in the world are the Munay Ki Rites?
The ten Munay Ki Rites are a beautiful container for inviting transformation into your life. The rites mostly originate in Peru. Dr Alberto Villoldo originally shared these rites on the behest his teachers who felt that the West needed to share in the gifts of these karpay to deal with the energetic shifts we are experiencing. Some like the Creator and 13th Rite are more recent – yet still incredibly powerful.
The Foundation Rites: the Healer, Bands of Power, Harmony and Seer Rite, open the way for inviting change into your life. The Healer Rite begins the process of healing both for you and what you carry for your ancestors; the Bands of Power empowers and protects you; the Harmony Rite connects an archetype with each chakra so you can view the world differently; and the Seer’s Rite opens you to seeing the unseen from the heart.
The Luminous Rites: the Day Keepers, Wisdom Keepers and Earth Keepers, balance the feminine and masculine energy within you, connect you to these Keepers and their gifts and encourage connection to the Earth.
The Rites to Come: the Starkeepers rite and Creator Rite upgrade your luminous energy field so you may evolve from ‘homo sapiens’ to ‘homo luminous’. The Creator Rite supports manifestation of one’s dreams and what you came to create in this life.
The 13th Rite or the Rite of the Womb, brings healing to the womb so that we can create both life and our purpose in this lifetime.
What the Munay Ki Rites have meant for me.
I first received the Munay Ki Rites in 2011, the last set in December of that year. In January 2012, I noticed that I knew the client’s age or which past life a limiting belief started. Muscle testing confirmed this knowing. Later, the details of past lives showed themselves. This was the Seer’s Rite seeds blossoming.
After over a decade of sharing these rites, I am embodying their nuances and the support of archetypes. They remind me to work more deeply with my gifts so that I can continue live my purpose.
I have continued to share the rites because I love witnessing the transformation of those who commit themselves to the journey.
So this is an invitation to find yourself in a circle at Inner Peace Healing – at the Munay Ki Journey, the Winter Solstice Despacho Ceremony and/or the Constellation Circle – Relinquishing Responsibility (this first circle on a Saturday in a long time).
And if circles are not your thing, you are most welcome to come for an energy healing session, one-on-one constellation or divination in the gentle space of my healing room in Hout Bay or online.
With love
Robyn
