When the winter rains arrived, the earth leakage switch in the electrical box began tripping. The electrician said that the switch was tired after tripping so many times It’s a bit like that for us too. When something happens in our lives that is too much for our nervous system, we trip out – disassociate. It’s our psyche’s way of staying safe.
We begin to feel like this tree on the edge of the bank, just hanging in there. Like a tired earth leakage switch, we start tripping regularly and loose our connection to the earth. I know when it’s happening for me – that loss of connection. I knock into things. I get clumsy. For others, it’s when the mind goes into overdrive and never stops thinking. Or there is inertia, a freeze into doing nothing.
When I feel this disconnection to the earth, I know it’s time to go outside and lie on the grass. I feel my body reconnecting, and breathe out slowly. If it’s a wet winter’s day, I lie on the floor inside, near a window to look up at the sky. I imagine the connection between heaven and earth. How I am anchored to the earth as I connect to the expanse of the cosmos. I feel the Divine around and in me, and the gratitude of landing back in my body.
Constellation Circle 12 June 9.30 – 2.30.
This is an invitation to join the next Constellation Circle, where we will be exploring keeping connection with our bodies and the earth – so you don’t keep tripping out. Yet we need to acknowledge that sometimes we need to be uprooted, to fall into that river and see where that takes us.
There’s more about Constellation Circles below.
With the Munay Ki Journey starting on 24 June, and because of other commitments I have, I will not be holding Constellation Circles in July and August.
What is a Constellation Circle?
A Constellation Circle at Inner Peace Healing has both Group Family Constellations and Constellation Exercises (Structured Constellations).
We start the morning in circle with a meditation.
The Constellation Exercises give a chance for all participants in the workshop to do some personal work in groups of 2 or 3 people. The exercise links to the theme of the Constellation Circle. It is a structured constellation, i.e. the roles of the representatives are stipulated as part of the exercise. They are done in silence, the only speaking is the healing sentence if part of the exercise. Afterwards, there is time for sharing what arose for each of the participants. Over the past few years, I have witnessed beautiful shifts flow from these powerful short exercises.
Group Constellations may flow out from the Constellation Exercises, i.e exploring an issue that may have been revealed and requires a more in-depth exploration. The are 2 spaces for pre-booked Family Constellations. They can be on any issue that the client may want to explore.
During the morning, there is a tea break with snacks and a light lunch.
Depending on what arises during the session, a healing shamanic drum journey may be included.
